Macro photography allows me to slow down and really pay attention to the details of nature. You can uncover intricate patterns and colors that almost feel surreal. Ordinary objects turn into something fascinating and opens up an opportunity for endless creativity.
Astro
I am often filled with wonder and awe when gazing into the night sky and seeing the Milky Way rise with its countless stars! We can capture scenes that are bigger than everyday life...like the Northern lights, eclipse events and the many phases of the moon.
Travel
To capture the feeling of a place and not just how it looks pushes me to look more deeply and notice more details. Visual stories become a memory to revisit and share.
New England
Living in New England provides a gorgeous backdrop for all genres in all seasons. The changing character and rich sense of place can dramatically transform a landscape giving endless varieties of scenes to photograph.

Seeing wildlife in their natural habitat is a a way of having a glimpse into a world we may not encounter often.
