Found in sub-Saharan Africa. the Lilac-breasted Roller is known for its vibrant plumage of lilac, turquoise, and green. Its acrobatic courtship flight when it "rolls" through the air is unique. They are territorial and hunt insects, lizards and frogs and can be often seen perched on high branches.
